The idea for a campus opinions journal came about in 2007 when a few of us decided that, even with the existence of the Opinions section in the Middlebury Campus weekly newspaper, there should be a larger, more accessible forum for students in which to broadcast their opinions on issues that matter.
The editorial board from these first months of planning and building was Daniel Roberts ’09, Emily Asher ’09, Josh Wessler ’09, Tristan Axelrod ’08, Jason Gutierrez ’09, Ceara Danaher ’08, Grace Duggan ’09 and Ian O’Reilly ’07. It is this team that worked together to kick off the magazine.
